Copyright Essentials for Faculty In-Person
Designed for faculty and graduate students with teaching responsibilities, this session offers a comprehensive look at Canadian copyright law, including fair dealing and the exceptions for educational institutions. Learn when fair dealing does and doesn’t apply to course materials, how to assess online content, and when permissions and licensing will be needed. Faculty and graduate students are welcome to bring course materials and ask course/content-specific questions following the workshop from 12:00-1:00.
